For 2019-20 season, busing has not yet been successfully arranged.
Central Maine Ski Club works with the local school districts to arrange transportation from local schools to Quarry Road Trails on the days that our programs are in operation. Ski equipment may be stored securely at Quarry Road Trails, so students do not need to bring skis to school or on the bus. AOS 92 (Waterville & Winslow Schools)
Details for 2018-19 are still being worked out. (In 2016-17, busing was available from the George J Mitchell School to Quarry Road.) Please contact the AOS 92 superintendent’s office and let them know that you would like a bus to Quarry Road.
RSU 18 (Oakland, Sidney, Belgrade, Rome, China)
RSU 18 has confirmed that after-school bus service will be available to Quarry Road Trails from all the Oakland schools (Atwood Primary, Williams Elementary, Messalonskee Middle School and Messalonksee High School). The bus driver is Becky Poulin on Bus #148. This is the same bus that goes to the Alfond Youth Center.
MSAD 49 (Fairfield, Benton, Clinton, Albion)
Please contact the MSAD 49 superintendent’s office and let them know that you would like a bus to Quarry Road.
Bus service is most likely to become available when the schools hear directly from parents who would take advantage of bus service. If your school is not currently served, please contact the school administration and encourage them to add a stop at Quarry Road Trails. (We’re just down the road from the Alfond Youth Center, where many busses run already)
